This fruit crate label was used on Jasper Brand Oranges, c. 1940s: 'Jasper Brand. Hypo-Clor and Flavorseal. Grown by Jasper Grove. Woodlake, California. Produce of U.S.A.' Crate labels were a frequent means of marketing fruit and vegetable packer brands at the turn of the century.
