This print shows an imagined view of air travel over Paris, France, in the year 2000 as people leave the opera. The print is titled, 'Le Sortie de l'opra en l'an 2000,' translated as, 'The release of the opera in 2000.' The print was illustrated by Albert Robida, c. 1882. Many types of aircraft can be seen, including buses, limousines, police patrols and women driving their own aircraft. The detail at rights shows travelers disembarking at a restaurant.
