Project Apollo Archive image gallery July 29 2009
From Apollo Hasselblad magazine.Following the lead of our earlier post, we'll continue with a space theme today. I know we're a little late to jump on the Apollo-anniversary band wagon, but I was just catching up on my own reading on the subject when I ran across the Project Apollo Archive image gallery. This latest addition to our Gallery of Galleries offers a large collection of high-resolution Apollo images and is most interesting because it includes photographs, such as the one shown above, that are not at all familiar and likely haven't been published anywhere else. The archive was created in 1999 by Kipp Teague and serves as a companion to Contact Light and the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal.
