Watch the Fords Go By, illustrated by Russian-born designer A.M. Cassandre in 1937. This painting was used as an advertising poster for the Ford V-8 as part of a "Watch the Fords Go By" campaign at the end of the 1930s. Cassandre, whose early work in the 1920s was seen in Paris, featured clean, smooth-edged forms in his art.
