Produced for the 1939 San Francisco World's Fair, this Indian Court Chippewa Picture Writing and Seneca Mask poster depicts traditional eastern woodlands Indian art. The Chippewa and Seneca Indian poster was one of eight posters WPA Artist Louis Siegriest created showing examples of Native American arts and crafts to promote the fair's exhibition of Indian life, named the Indian Court.
