1939 World's Fair on San Francisco Bay

New in our gallery and store: This poster for the The San Francisco World's Fair 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition features the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge. The fair, which operated from 1939 to 1940 on San Francisco's Treasure Island, celebrated the two recently dedicated spans. This same poster can be seen attached to the side of the Goodyear Blimp in 1938 for some pre-Fair promotion.
