Created by the Illinois WPA Art Project to promote the use of libraries by children, this poster shows a child in pajamas running through town at night: 'Wee Willie Winkie runs through the town, upstairs and downstairs in his nightgown; rapping all the windows and, searching all the nooks to count the many children reading library books.' The poster was illustrated by Cleo Sara, c. 1940.
